Kolkata: The mercury has dipped below normal in many places in West Bengal. That’s why the cold has increased. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Kolkata was recorded at 18 degrees Celsius. In the hills, Darjeeling recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius, while Purulia was the coldest place.
