The High Division court of Civil Judge Aditya Singh in Sambhal passed an important order on Tuesday. Civil Judge Aditya Singh ordered a commissionerate survey of Shahi Jama Masjid located in the city. Following the court order, the investigation team reached the mosque late in the afternoon. Advocate commissioner Ramesh Singh Raghav along with DM Rajendra Pesiya, SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, Supreme Court advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain and others were present in the survey team. A large number of police forces are deployed around the mosque. No one is allowed to wander.

In Sambhal, High Division civil judge Aditya Singh ordered a commissioned survey of Shahi Jama Masjid. This order was given at the request of Mahant Rishiraj Giri Maharaj of Kailadevi temple. Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain appeared before the court on behalf of Mahant Rishiraj Giri Maharaj. Vishnu Shankar Jain claimed that Shahi Jama Masjid is the temple of Shri Harihar. It is here that the Dashavatar Kalki of Lord Vishnu will be incarnated.

Shahi Jama Masjid described as the temple of Shri Harihar

Let us tell you that for the first time a petition was filed to declare Shahi Jama Masjid as Shri Harihar Temple. While the petition was being heard, the order was given to conduct a reconnaissance of the mosque from the first day. The High Division bench of Civil Justice Aditya Singh said it would be easier to do justice through the survey. On the court’s order, advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said the commissioner’s survey was ordered by the civil court. An order has been given to present a report with video photographs.

Ramesh Singh Raghav appointed defense commissioner

Ramesh Singh Raghav was appointed as Advocate Commissioner by the High Division bench of Civil Judge Aditya Singh. The court of civil judge Aditya Singh gave this order at 3:30 pm on Tuesday and around 6 pm the survey team under the leadership of advocate commissioner Ramesh Singh Raghav reached the mosque to conduct the survey. That means the investigative work began within two and a half hours of the court order. The team remained inside the mosque for about two hours. During this, DM Rajendra Pesiya, SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, Supreme Court advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain and others were present.

Petitioner Mahant could not enter the mosque.

At the same time, the district administration formed a five-member committee that participated with the survey team. There was no one in the court from the Muslim side. He received the reconnaissance permit. Advocate Vishnu Shankar had also entered the mosque with the survey team, while petitioner Mahant Rishiraj Giri could not enter the mosque. They remained outside. Consciousness officers of two circles, Sambhal and Asmauli, were deployed around the mosque.

MP Ziaur Rahman Burke raised questions

Shahi Jama Masjid is situated in Kot East of Sadar Kotwali area. As soon as it became known that the poll was being held at Jama Masjid, there was a huge stir there. People from the Muslim community approached the mosque, but during this time a large number of police forces were deployed. People were taken out of there. Sambhal MP Ziaur Rahman Burke said we respect the court’s decision. Thousands of people wanted to gather near Jama Masjid, but we stopped them. At least seven days’ notice should have been given. It was heard today and the survey was ordered today.

Full cooperation was extended to the survey team, Mutawalli of Jama Masjid.

While Zafar, advocate of Shahi Jama Masjid’s Mutawalli, said that a survey has been carried out on the Jama Masjid. The survey took place for approximately two hours. We fully cooperated with the survey team. We hope this will be our Jama Masjid. DM Rajendra Pesiya said considering the way the court order came, police force was deployed in the city so that law and order is not disturbed.
