Voting for the assembly elections will be held on Wednesday in Maharashtra. In such a situation, a day before the poll, Dahanu’s Bahujan Vikas Aghadi candidate Suresh Padvi joined the BJP. Padvi joined the party in the presence of Palghar BJP district president Bharat Rajput. Just a few days ago, Padvi joined hands with BJP’s Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and won the nomination.
Padvi joined the BJP and announced her support for BJP candidate Vinod Medha in these elections. Padvi said, ‘I discussed the matter with BJP district officials and today I officially joined the party. I announce my support for the BJP candidate in Dahanu. Let us tell you that Hitendra Thakur-led BVA had three MLAs in the outgoing state assembly.

Voting will be held in 288 Maharashtra assembly seats on November 20. The results will be known on November 23.
Competition between Mahayuti and MVA
The grand alliance includes the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the National Congress Party (NCP) led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Mahayuti is trying to retain power by supporting women through popular shows like “Majhi Behan, Majhi Ladki”. At the same time, the BJP tried to woo voters by using slogans like if we divide, we will be cut off.
