The principal of a public school in Andhra Pradesh cut the hair of some female students. It is said that these girls were late for school. Angered by this, the director punished him and cut his hair. After this matter came to light, the collector suspended the accused director. This matter is being investigated.
Samagra state project director Shiksha B Srinivas Rao said the incident took place at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), a residential school at G Madugula in Alluri Seetharamaraju district, but came to light on Monday. After preliminary investigation conducted on Monday, the allegations against the director were found to be true, following which the collector issued suspension orders late in the evening. An investigation led by the District Education Officer (DEO) and the Child Development Officer resulted in disciplinary action being taken against Principal Prasanna.
Let us tell you that a similar incident also came to light in Arwal district of Bihar. Here in a school, a teacher brutally beat a student for not completing his homework. In this beating, the 12-year-old student suffered serious eye injuries, after which he was admitted to a hospital in Patna, where he is being treated.
Following the complaint of the victim’s family, the police registered a case against the teacher and the management of the private school located in Umairabad area of the district. The victim student’s name is Amit Raj, who is a fifth class student. He said: “On November 13, my teacher started hitting me with a stick for not doing my homework.”
During this, he suffered a serious injury to his left eye. He told his parents. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Doctors also claim that the student victim’s eye injury is serious. The family members have filed a complaint against the accused teacher and the school management.
