A case has been registered against comedian Yash Rathi under section 296 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) at Jewra Sirsa police outpost in the district. The police are investigating the matter. Angered by the abusive language used by Yash Rathi in the programme, some organisations, including Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, National Students Union of India and Karni Sena, expressed their anger over this. He lodged a complaint against Yash Rathi with the IIT management and the police. The IIT management has also registered a case with the police in this matter.
