The bodies of both were found hanging, the police recovered a suicide note.
Mohali Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Mohali: A loving couple who lived rented in a house in Phase 8 of the city committed suicide by hanging. This loving couple was a migrant and had lived here for some time. The police have also recovered a suicide note from the spot. The suicide note is said to contain the name of a person whom the couple believes is responsible for his death. The police have initiated further action following this suicide note. Meanwhile, SHO Jagdeep Singh said the police will soon crack the case and send the accused behind the death of both of them behind bars.
The young man is from UP and the girl is originally from Bihar.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased youths have been identified as Anas, 30, a resident of Saharanpur (UP) and Nidhi, 23, a resident of Balongi. Nidhi is originally from Bihar and was in a live-in relationship with Anas. However, Anas had rented a room on the second floor of the mansion in Phase-1. He lived here for about a year and a half. It is said that Nidhi was his girlfriend and she used to go to see him. They both committed suicide by hanging. Anas used to work as an AC (air conditioner).

This is how the matter was revealed
When Anas did not arrive at work last day, his colleagues called him repeatedly but Anas did not answer the phone. Seeing the sound of something strange, his friends came to his room. When there was a knock on Anas’s room door, it was locked from the inside. After knocking on the door for a long time and seeing no response from inside, he called the owner. When the owner arrived at the scene and broke down the door, both were found hanging inside. After this, the Mohali police were informed. After which the police reached the spot and investigated and recovered the suicide note.
