The Saudi Press Agency reported that the second meeting of the Saudi-China-Iran Joint Trilateral Committee to advance the Beijing Agreement was held in Riyadh on Tuesday. This meeting was chaired by the Saudi Vice Foreign Minister, Waleed bin Abdulkareem Elkheriji, in which the Vice Foreign Minister of China, Deng Li, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Majid Takht Ravanchi, were also present.

Saudi and Iranian officials at this meeting reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening neighboring relations by fully adopting the Beijing Agreement and acceding to the Charter of the United Nations, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and international law. The officials also welcomed the first meeting of the Saudi-Iranian Joint Media Committee and the agreement between the Prince Saud al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Iranian Institute of Political and International Studies.
