New town to be built on Greenfield Expressway ready for Jewar Airport
The government included 19 villages located on the Palwal border in its control zone.
Palwal News (Aaj Samaj) Palwal: Plans are underway to develop a new town on the Greenfield Expressway that runs through the district. This city will be developed in the Palwal area along with the Greenfield Expressway being built for the under-construction Jewar Airport in Uttar Pradesh. For this, the government has included 19 villages located on the Palwal border in its control zone. All these villages are located near Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal, Easton Peripheral Expressway and Greenfield Expressway passing to Jewar Airport, so planning has been started to establish a new town here in Master Plan 2041. The Metro Development Authority of Faridabad is preparing a plan in this regard. This will benefit both Faridabad and Palwal.
Villages along the banks of the Yamuna will be included.
The Faridabad Metro Development Authority is preparing the complete blueprint of Master Plan 2041. Under this, work is being carried out to include villages along the Greenfield Expressway and along the banks of the Yamuna. Last year, in the board meeting chaired by then CM Manohar Lal Khattar, it was said to include some villages on the banks of river Yamuna in the control area. In this series, work was started to prepare a development plan including 19 villages of Palwal in the control area.
It will be a milestone for UP and Haryana.
If the Greenfield Expressway leading to Jewar airport is ready, it will be a milestone for UP and Haryana from a commercial point of view. Having an airport after crossing the Yamuna will give a boost to the industry and residential sectors will also be established there. Therefore, these 19 villages have been included in the control area.

All 19 villages of Palwal district have been included in the control zone. They mainly include Shekhpur, Nangliya, Jhuppa, Baghpur Kalan, Baghpur Khurd, Solda, Bholda, Dostpur, Gurawadi, Chandhat, Rahimpur, Prahladpur, Rajpur Khadar, Thanthri, Balai, Maqsoodpur, Hansapur, Jebabad Khareli, Bhud and Shekhpur.
