A case of gross negligence of a doctor in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has come to light. The doctor performed appendix surgery on a 12-year-old girl who came to Sadar Hospital for treatment for stomach pain. After the operation, the doctor learned that the girl did not have an appendix. The victim’s relatives have complained to the departmental authorities, accusing the doctor of negligence. They allege that after the operation the girl remained unconscious for an hour and a half. There was a trash can on the bed he was forced to lie on. When they asked the doctor why it took so long, he said that his daughter does not have an appendix. The doctor began to apologize. The relatives were angry about this.
