An angry mob pelted stones in Kakrauli area of Meerapur. After this, the police dispersed the crowd. According to the police, a clash between two sides took place here. In fact, there was commotion during the Meerapur by-election voting. During this, the crowd pelted stones at Kakrauli. After this, the police had to resort to lathicharge to calm the situation. At that time police officers were also present at the scene. Currently the situation is normal.

Muzaffarnagar SSP Abhishek Singh said, “During the Meerapur assembly by-election, a small clash took place between two parties near Kakrauli village under Kakrauli area police station. Police immediately reached the spot and took out to everyone there using force. “Peace is maintained and the vote takes place freely and fairly.”
