Mumbai Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar appealed to the people of Maharashtra to exercise their right to vote and said the assembly elections will decide the future of Maharashtra. Furthermore, he completely rejected the allegations of alleged ‘voice notes’ of Nana Patole and Supriya Sule. In fact, after allegations of money distribution against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Vinod Tawde, the party on Tuesday made serious allegations against Nana Patole and Supriya Sule.
In fact, the BJP had alleged that attempts were being made to cash in on ‘Bitcoin’ to influence the state assembly elections. The BJP had claimed that this raises serious questions about holding elections in a free and fair manner. However, Supriya Sule and Nana Patole denied the allegations.
Sharad Pawar also said that the BJP’s allegations against his daughter and Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule and Congress’ Maharashtra unit chief Nana Patole do not deserve attention. The person making the accusations is in prison. This shows how far the BJP has fallen.
Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in Baramati town of Pune district, Sharad Pawar said that all voters should exercise their right to vote. This choice is very important. This will decide the future of Maharashtra. I call on all citizens to leave their homes and vote. It is not good that the vote percentage in Maharashtra is less than that of the smaller northeastern states. When asked about his assessment of the election results, Sharad Pawar stated that the MVA should win a majority.
