Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the last date of registration for Lateral Entrance Selection Test (LEST) 2025 for admission in classes 9 and 11. Now students can apply till November 26, 2024 to appear for the test. The last date to apply was November 19. The committee has also issued a notification in this regard.
The entrance test for admission will be conducted on February 8, 2025. For admission in class 9, students will have to register themselves by visiting the official website cbseitms.nic.in/2024/nvsix/ and for admission in class 11, students will have to register by visiting cbseitms.nic.in/2024/nvsxi_11/ .
NVS Admission 2025: What are the eligibility criteria for admission?
To enter promotion 11 under the Lateral Access Selection Test, the student must have been born between June 1, 2008 and July 31, 2010 (both dates inclusive). While to enter the 9th class, the student must have been born between May 1, 2010 and July 31, 2012 (both dates inclusive).
At the same time, the maximum age limit has also been relaxed for reserved category students as per regulations. Only students enrolled in class 10 (for LEST class 11) or class 8 (for LEST class 9) during the 2024-25 academic year are eligible to apply.
NVS LEST 2025 Exam Pattern: What is the Entrance Exam Pattern?
The exam will be conducted by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on February 8, 2025. The exam time will be 2 hours. The exam will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The article will ask MCQ type questions, in which there will be a total of 3 sections.
NVS LEST Admit Card 2025: When will the admit card be released?
After the registration process is completed, the committee will issue an exam admit card to all the registered candidates. Which candidates can download by visiting the official website. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center without an entrance ticket.
