Guyana and Barbados will also honor Prime Minister Modi; To date, a total of 19 international awards have been received.

Guyana and Barbados will also honor Prime Minister Modi; To date, a total of 19 international awards have been received.

The Government of Guyana has announced the award of the “Order of Excellence” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With this, the total number of international awards received by Prime Minister Modi will rise to 19. Along with Guyana, Barbados will also present its highest award to Prime Minister Modi. Dominica had also announced a few days ago that it would present its highest award to Prime Minister Modi.

Some important international awards received by Prime Minister Modi are as follows.

Saudi Arabia: In April 2016, King Salman bin Abdulaziz awarded him the King Abdulaziz Sash, the Kingdom’s highest civilian honour.

Afghanistan: In 2016, he received Afghanistan’s highest civilian award, the State Order of Ghazi Amir Amanullah Khan.

Palestine: In 2018, the Government of Palestine awarded him the Great Necklace.

United Arab Emirates: The UAE’s highest civilian honour, the Order of Zayed, was awarded in 2019.

Russia: In 2019, Russia awarded him the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle, the country’s highest civilian honor, during a visit to Moscow.

Maldives: Maldives’ highest honor for foreign dignitaries, the Order of the Distinguished Ruler of Nishan Izzuddin, in 2019.

Bahrain: 2019 Awarded the Order of the Renaissance of King Hamad by Bahrain.

USA: Awarded the prestigious Legion of Merit by the US government for exceptionally meritorious service in 2020.

Bhutan: Received the Highest Civilian Order of Honor of the Druk Gyalpo during his visit to Bhutan in December 2021.

Papua New Guinea: President of the Republic of Palau Surangel S. during his visit to Papua New Guinea in 2023. Abacal Award from Whips Junior.

fiji:Fiji’s highest honor as ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’ received by Prime Minister Modi’s global leadership.

Papua New Guinea: Papua New Guinea Governor-General Sir Bob Dada has been awarded the Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu, the country’s highest honour.

Egypt: In June 2023, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi awarded him the ‘Order of the Nile’, Egypt’s highest state honor.

France: On July 13, 2023, President Emmanuel Macron awarded him the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honor, France’s highest honor.

Greece: On August 25, 2023, the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Honor.

Dominica: Ahead of the trip to Africa in November 2024, Dominica announced the country’s highest national award, the Dominica Honor Award.

Nigeria: In November 2024, Nigeria awarded him Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
