Giving information about this on social media platform ‘X’, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma wrote, ‘Our government has taken a significant decision to make the film “The Sabarmati Report” tax-free in Rajasthan. This film realistically depicts that horrible period of history, which some selfish elements maliciously tried to distort to suit their vested interests. This film not only effectively exposes the reality of the system at that time, but also refutes the misleading and false propaganda of that time.

CM Sharma said in his Facebook post: “This unfortunate and heartbreaking incident has been presented with utmost sensitivity in the film. This film must be watched because only a deep and critical study of the past can help us understand the present and give us guidance for the future. Let us tell you that before this, many other Bharatiya Janata Party ruled states have declared this film tax free. Earlier, the Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh had also announced that this film would be tax free. that Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra have starred in this film.
