Cultural evening to be held at the International Fair on November 27: Saund
Punjab (Aaj Samaj) News Update, Chandigarh: The Punjab Pavilion at the ongoing International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi presents a comprehensive view of the progress made by the state in the fields of industrial development, tradition and modernity, rich cultural heritage, agriculture, handicrafts, fashion and education.
This pavilion presents a vision of the contribution Punjab makes to the development of the country in various fields like milk production, bicycle manufacturing, sporting goods, etc. Industry, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund said that a tourist and cultural evening will be organized in Punjab on November 27.
He has invited more and more people to visit the Punjab Pavilion. Industry Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund, Additional Chief Secretary DPS Kharbanda, Executive Director Punjab Investment Varinder Kumar Sharma and dedicated efforts have been made under the leadership of Harjeet Singh Sandhu AMD.

Pavilion showing vision of Punjab
Sharing details about the design of the pavilion, pavilion manager Davinderpal Singh said that Punjab’s vision of progress, economic strength and cultural wealth has been displayed through digital screens at the entrance. The pavilion seeks to introduce visitors to the richness of the state’s architectural domain through the Nanakshahi brick design, famous for its beauty.
The mansion like design at the entrance and our Punjab signage are becoming the center of attraction for people. Along with this, metal sculptures of the eagle, the royal bird of the state, are transforming the cultural and spiritual importance of the state, especially its importance in the Sikh tradition.
