For the first time, all-terrain vehicles will be deployed in Mahakumbh, which in the event of a fire will be able to immediately reach any place on the exhibition grounds.

Prayagraj : The Yogi government, determined to make Mahakumbh 2025 a safe and green Mahakumbh, is taking many measures. In this sequence, for the first time, an all-terrain vehicle will be deployed in Mahakumbh. If a fire breaks out anywhere in the fairgrounds, this vehicle will be able to reach the location in a few seconds and control the fire. It will be equipped with all modern fire safety devices, including a fire extinguisher. You will be able to run at full speed even in sand, swamps and shallow water. Qualified firefighters from the fire department will travel there and monitor emergency situations throughout the fair area. It will be used for the first time in Mahakumbh. For this purpose, four all-terrain vehicles have arrived in Prayagraj and firefighters are being trained on their driving and use. CM Yogi will be able to point out these four vehicles and other devices on November 25. This battery-electric vehicle will realize CM Yogi’s determination for a safe and eco-friendly Mahakumbh.

The four vehicles arrived at Prayagraj from Germany.
Following the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services (UP Fire Services) have made extensive preparations to convert the fair area into a fire incident-free zone. The off-road vehicle is part of that preparation. Prayagraj fire chief and Mahakumbh nodal officer Pramod Sharma said four all-terrain vehicles have been brought to Prayagraj from Germany. CM Yogi himself will brand these vehicles which cost around Rs 2.5 crore. With the deployment of these vehicles, it will be ensured that after the start of the Maha Kumbh Mela, fire safety services can function smoothly even in the busy areas of the area. He said the vehicle is equipped with fire-fighting equipment including water tanks, taps and pumps, which will allow officers to take immediate action in the event of a fire. This quick action is important to prevent the fire from spreading, especially in the early stages.

He said that in addition to the normal fire extinguisher, it also has an air compressor and Vampak fire extinguisher. In this way, up to 9 liters of water can be sprayed with the gun. It contains 8 liters of water and one liter of chemical that turns into foam after spraying. Fluoride-free foam has effective firefighting capabilities. It can extinguish the fire quickly. It can also suppress flammable liquid fires and prevent them from reigniting, making it a reliable alternative to traditional foam. Its discharge distance is up to 45 feet, thus maintaining a safe distance between the system operator and the fire. It has a 75-foot hose that allows the user to reach a fire within 100 feet of the unit in any direction. This distance also protects the operator and firefighter from thermal radiation and toxic gases. This vehicle is safer for firefighters and first responders. It is also biodegradable and Green Shield certified. Special training is being given to firefighters to use vehicles with fluorine-free foam.

Access will be easy in busy areas
He said in most major fire incidents, personnel are often faced with congested areas, making firefighting efforts difficult. It is difficult to transport or operate fire trucks in those areas. This wastes a lot of time. We wanted a solution that would allow us to quickly reach congested areas and start operating immediately. In Mahakumbh, when a large crowd is present in all areas, in emergency situations, these vehicles will be able to reach the spot within a few seconds. With the ability to move quickly to ensure rapid response, these vehicles will be capable of extinguishing various types of fires. This vehicle is capable of moving in sand, mud and rough terrain, as well as in shallow water. When the vehicle gets stuck in the sand, it runs in boost mode, so all four wheels start working. It charges in just 4 hours and runs for 8 hours. It’s 60 kilometers. It can run at a speed of one hour.
