According to information, on November 19, 2024, the police team of Cyber Crime West police station received information about some people running a call center at GLS Homes Society Sohna and committing fraud by transferring money to banks by offering games and betting through online gaming applications.
Based on this information, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Cyber Crime Priyanshu Dewan and under the leadership of Director Cyber Crime Police Station Inspector Naveen, Sub Inspector Sachin and Sub Inspector Kuldeep along with the police team , they arrived at GLS. Home Society Sohna. At the scene, 9 people were found playing online games through online gaming applications using laptops and mobile phones.

A case was registered against all the accused at the West Gurugram Cyber Crime Police Station after they were found gambling or betting online. Police interrogation revealed that accused Sagar deals with call center work. The remaining defendants have been employed. The accused used to make IDs and give them to people and used to make people deposit money and play online games/bets through online applications.
Sagar was the call center operator who provided the bank accounts used to commit online gaming fraud. The accused were running this call center for the last two months. In return for doing this work, the accused received a salary of approximately Rs 20,000 and a commission of 5 percent. The police team has recovered 3 laptops, 38 mobile phones, 25 bank account kits and 22 ATM cards from the possession of the accused.
