Uttar Pradesh: A tragic road accident occurred on the Yamuna Expressway in which a double-decker bus rear-ended a truck. In this accident, 5 people died and 15 were injured. The accident occurred at No. 56 Yamuna Highway in Tappal Police Station area of Aligarh.

The truck that was at the scene was full of remains of beer bottles, while the bus was left in pieces. The private double-decker bus was going from Delhi to Azamgarh. The accident was so serious that the people traveling on the bus managed to get out by breaking the windows.
Police immediately launched a rescue operation
Among the dead were a five-month-old child, a woman and three men. Police immediately launched a rescue operation and admitted all the injured to Jewar’s Kailash hospital. The bodies of the deceased were taken into possession and sent to the morgue, of which three have been identified and two have not been identified. Police and administrative teams reached the scene and quickly continued relief operations.
CM Yogi took notice of the accident
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has learned about this painful road accident. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and ordered officials to immediately go to the scene. The Chief Minister ordered to expedite relief work and issued instructions to ensure proper treatment of the injured. Likewise, CM Yogi wished speedy recovery to the injured.
