SSP said: This video has gone viral as part of a conspiracy. The video is incomplete. The truth is that the police had arrived there with information about the confrontation. Where an attempt was made to block the road and stones were thrown at the police procession. When the police used light force, the miscreants fled the scene and pushed the women forward.

Muzaffarnagar Police Statement

On the ruckus in the Meerapur assembly by-election, the Muzaffarnagar administration said that during the ongoing voting on November 20, information was received that there was a fight between two parties near Kakrauli police station area. . Upon which the police officers immediately arrived at the scene and tried to appease the people who were creating a ruckus. But those people began to throw stones at the police team itself. In such a situation, the people who were creating a ruckus were removed from there by the police using subtle force.

Police station chief Kakrauli Rajeev Sharma, who was present at the spot, took steps to normalize the law and order situation with riot gear. Nobody was threatened. Legal action will be taken by registering a case under relevant sections against those who pelted stones at the police team.
