CM Kanya Vivah Yojana (Aaj Samaj) Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has started Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana for the marriage of daughters of poor and economically weak families. Under this scheme, the state government provides assistance of Rs 55,000 to the needy families. Of which Rs 38,000 is cash and household items worth Rs 17,000 are provided. Financial assistance under the scheme is provided only during mass marriage ceremonies.
Lectures on mass marriages and Nikah will be held on this day.
Dharmendra Gangle, deputy director of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Khargone, said the MP government has fixed the dates of 2024-25 for the mass marriage and Nikah conference. In this case, the marriages will take place on November 26, December 2 and 13, 2024 in Khargone and other districts. At the same time, in 2025, weddings will also be organized on February 2, 3, 9 and 14, March 14, April 14, 16 and 30, and May 10 and 28. For Nikah mass, Garib Nawaz Committee, Barwah will organize a program on November 24, 2024 and Hello Muslim Samaj on February 9, 2025.

To avail the benefits of Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, the bride and groom will have to submit an application in a special form. This application needs to be submitted to the Municipal Corporation, Municipality and District Panchayat 15 days before the marriage. After this, all applications will be registered on the marriage portal a week before the wedding ceremony.
