Thane: After the end of voting in Maharashtra, a tussle has begun for the post of Chief Minister. Former cabinet minister and candidate of the Sharad Pawar faction of Mumbra Kalwa assembly Jitendra Awhad claimed that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government is being formed. Jitendra Awhad claimed that Mahavikas Aghadi will get more than 160 seats in Maharashtra.
He said this about the post of Chief Minister.
Replying to a question about the Chief Minister’s post in Mahavikas Aghadi, Awhad said that if Sharad Pawar asks, then I can become the face of the Chief Minister’s post. But the final decision in this regard will be taken by the party high command. He said the decision on the CM’s post will be taken after November 23.
Jitendra Awhad further said that if Sharad Pawar asked me to become Chief Minister, it would be nobility on the part of Pawar Saheb, but I have no such desire. Mahavikas Aghadi leaders will decide the remaining faces for the post of Chief Minister.
He said this about CM Shinde
At the same time, Jitendra Awhad expressed his support for Eknath Shinde and also expressed his support and said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to isolate Eknath Shinde, the Shiv Sena workers will not like him at all. Even if Eknath Shinde and I have differences. It didn’t help me in the 2024 Maharashtra elections, but after all, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde lives in my neighbourhood. I always respect him and will continue to support him.
He said the seats given by the Bharatiya Janata Party high command to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mahayuvati. This makes it clear that the BJP does not consider anyone before itself and the language it uses is not correct. For this reason, Eknath Shinde leaders are seen speaking openly. Jitendra Awhad said that the people voted keeping in mind the rising inflation and I especially express my gratitude to the people of Mumbra Kalwa Assembly for voting peacefully.
