(Yamunanagar News) Sadhaura. On Wednesday afternoon, municipal employees began to remove the BKU officials’ banners placed in front of the main gate of the grain market. After receiving information about the uprooting of the banner, BKU circle chief Satpal Manakpur and block chief Janakraj Pando reached the spot with the farmers. The farmers arrived at the scene and began to make a fuss, protesting against the municipal employees. The farmers calmed down only after Municipal Corporation officials assured them that they would put up the banner again within two days.

In the afternoon, information was received that municipal workers were removing the BKU banner posted at the gate of the grain market: Satpal Manakpur.

Satpal Manakpur said that in the evening he received information that municipal workers were tearing down the BKU banner posted at the gate of the grain market. When the farmers protested, the Municipal Corporation employees left the half-torn banner in the middle and the Municipal Corporation administration ensured to make a new banner and put it back up within 2 days. Janak Raj Pando said banners of political leaders are put up at every square and intersection in the city. The employees of the Municipal Corporations must do the work of tearing down the banners of the leaders of these political parties. While BKU is a non-political organization. It is wrong to tear down your flag. He warned city hall employees that if an attempt was made to tear down the BKU banner again, the city administration would have to be prepared to face opposition from farmers. Mohit Sarawin, Prince Sarawin, Sanju Shampur, Yunus Fazalpur, Jasbir Shampur, Kulwinder Singh, Gulab Singh and Yashpal Naushehra were present on the occasion.
