The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start option blocking service for NEET UG missing vacancy round from today i.e. 25th October. Those medical students who have not yet been able to do their counseling at any medical school can participate in it. Medical candidates must fill out the options in order of preference and lock their options through the official website mcc.nic.in before 8 am on October 26.
1,184 places remain to be filled
The NEET UG selection facility started on October 23 for a total of 1,184 vacant seats as notified by MCC. As per the NEET UG counseling schedule, the seat allotment result 2024 will be declared on October 29 after completing the allocation process between October 26 and 28.

MCC NEET UG Choice Locking Link will be available today at 4 pm and will close tomorrow, October 26 at 8 am As per the latest update, as per the order of the Kerala High Court, a Sri Institute of Medical Sciences headquarters has also been added Lakshmi Narayana Cudapakkam Post, Villianur, Puducherry.
Who is eligible for this round?
Candidates who do not have any seats in the All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in the NEET UG Lost Seat Round.
Those who have not “reported” on the assigned Round 3 counseling faculty may participate in UG state counseling.
Those candidates who have not appeared in the first stage.
What is the lost round?
After completing three stages of NEET UG counseling, it is conducted to allocate vacant posts to the candidates who have qualified in Medical Entry.
