Cut: Tension has spread in Pattapol area of Cuttack due to clash between two groups on Wednesday night. Five people were injured in this incident and many vehicles were damaged. According to the information, the confrontation began with an argument over parking motorcycles, which soon led to a violent confrontation. Both groups began throwing stones and glass bottles at each other. Seeing the deterioration of the atmosphere, the local population became scared.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the police force led by DCP Jagmohan Meena reached the spot and the situation was brought under control. The DCP said the fight started after a minor argument. The police calmed the area within 10-15 minutes and took the injured to the hospital. In addition, stones and pieces of glass found on the roads were cleaned.
According to locals, such incidents are nothing new in the Pattapol area. A similar clash took place during Durga Puja immersion last month. DCP Jagmohan Meena has assured that concrete steps will be taken to stop such incidents. Likewise, it has been decided to increase patrols in the area and monitor antisocial elements.
The injured are being treated at the local hospital. There was definitely tension in the area after the confrontation, but thanks to police action the situation has now normalized. This incident raises serious questions about the lack of security in the area and the increasing activities of anti-social elements. Locals are asking the administration to take strict measures to avoid such incidents in future.
