Ayodhya. MLA Ramchander Yadav initiated the Khadi and Village Industries Divisional Exhibition at the Government Girls Inter College grounds by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. The exhibition was visited by Ayodhya Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, MLA Ramchandra Yadav, BJP district president Sanjeev Singh, president Sheetala Pandey and district industries officer Rakesh Kumar.
MLA Ramchandra Yadav said that at the Khadi Village Industries Exhibition, the production material of Khadi Village Industries units produced by institutional and individual units from many districts of Uttar Pradesh as well as businessmen from Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Jammu Kashmir , were displayed in the stables.
The mayor said that the main objective of organizing the exhibition is to display the identified products of traditional artisans working in rural areas as well as put them on sale in important and large sizes and motivate the unemployed to get employment and also encourage common citizens to get involved in Khadi and village industries so that products are available at one place.

Ltd. and Village Self-reliant School, Awadh Gramodyog Mandal of Gonda, Khadi Gramodyog Ashram, Devnidhi Samagra Mahila Vikas Sansthan, Purvanchan and Readymade Garment, Meena Handicraft of Basti, Yarsh Gramodyog Sansthan of Hathras, Mathura Industries Anupama Agarbatti of Gorakhpur, AS Gorakhpur Herbal, Bhardwaj Khadi Village Industries. Seva Sansthan and Akash Gramodyog Sansthan Kanpur, Radha Gramodyog and Chandan Face Powder of Kannauj, Shiv Gramodyog of Fatehpur, Maharaja Handicraft Center of Amethi, Pandey Gramodyog of Prayagraj, Pravesh Kumar Gramodyog of Sultanpur, Iqbal Saree Udyog of Azamgarh, Brahmin Gramodyog Seva of Lucknow Committee, Haridwar to J. Badri Gramodyog, Jai Badri Gramodyog and Shoe. Slipper stalls, Ravi Kumar Punjabi Jutti from Patiala Punjab and Madan Rathore Punjabi Jutti, Jodhpur Bandhan Grih Handicraft from Rajasthan etc. have been set up.
The district rural industries officer said that most of the population of our country lives in villages. Since ancient times, artisanal industries abounded in the country. The Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme is run by the Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board across the country, under which 25 to 35 per cent subsidy is allowed for loans up to Rs 50 lakh.
He has appealed to the general public for more and more people to come to the exhibition and take advantage of the exhibition. This exhibition will be open until December 4, 2024 on the GGI grounds.
