A case of death of an 11-year-old boy under suspicious circumstances in Sardhana police station area of Meerut came to light on Monday. This boy named Sahil was found hanging in the storeroom of his house in Mohalla Garhi Khatikan, located on Daurala Road. The feeling spread through the area after the incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body, sent it for autopsy and started investigating the case.
Sahil’s grandfather Hanif lodged a complaint at the police station accusing Sahil’s mother Nasreen and her lover Sameer alias Shabbu of murder. Hanif says Sahil’s father had already died and Nasreen was now living with Sameer as husband and wife.

Hanif alleges that Sameer had a grudge against him and, along with Nasreen, strangled Sahil to death and then hung the body to fake a suicide. After receiving the complaint, the police arrested Nasreen and Sameer Took. After interrogation, both were sent to prison.
The police arrested the two accused.
About this incident, Meerut SP Dehat Rakesh Kumar said that investigation into the incident is continuing. The initial investigation has confirmed the murder allegations. After adequate evidence was found against the boy’s mother and her lover, they were arrested. Further investigations are underway to uncover the motives behind the murder.
