Russia Ukraine War: The war between Russia and Ukraine continues and at the moment there are no signs of it stopping. Meanwhile, Ukraine has said Russia has used an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) for the first time in a war targeting the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. The Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement on the social media platform Telegram on Thursday that it was fired from the Astrakhan region in Russia’s Caspian Sea, but did not specify exactly what type of missile it was. Meanwhile, the Russian spokesman has refused to say anything about the attack.

a call came from the Kremlin

In fact, a press conference was being held after the Russian attack. The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, spoke at the press conference. Meanwhile, a call suddenly came from the Kremlin (the official residence of the Russian president) and they asked him not to say anything about the ICBM attack. He was told to keep silent about the ICBM attack. But, during this conversation, MarĂa forgot to turn off the microphone, so her voice came out.

The missile is capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

ICBMs are designed to carry nuclear warheads and their use would serve as a powerful message of Russia’s nuclear capability. The attack came two days after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the revised nuclear doctrine. The development comes as the war has taken on a more international dimension with the arrival of North Korean troops to help Russia on the battlefield.

The situation is getting worse

After North Korean troops arrived to help Russia, US President Joe Biden is believed to have had to change his policy on allowing Ukraine to fire long-range US missiles at Russia. Russia threatened that Biden’s policy change would have negative consequences. Putin also previously warned the United States and other NATO allies that allowing Ukraine to use long-range weapons to attack Russian territory would mean war between Russia and NATO.
