People consume Amla in many ways in winter. But many people like to eat Amla Murabba. It is tasty and full of nutrients. Although ready-made Amla Murabba is available in the market today, it is quite easy to prepare it at home. In such a situation, you can prepare it at home using fresh Amla and pure ingredients. Let us know the easy way to do it.

Material

To make Amla Murabba, you need 500 grams of fresh Amla, sugar as required, water, cloves, cardamom, 1/2 turmeric powder, 2 to 3 black peppers and a pinch of salt.

Method to make Amla

First of all, wash and clean the currants well. Then cut them lightly on all sides. With this, Amla cooks well and tastes better. After this, pour water into a container, add the currants and bring it to a boil. Boil for about 10 to 15 minutes until it changes color and softens a little. After boiling, remove the currant from the water and let it cool. Then remove the seeds from among them and separate the pulp.

Now add water and sugar in a saucepan and let it boil. Boil well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Now add cloves, cardamom, black pepper and salt. Mix all these things well in syrup. Now put the boiled Amla in the prepared syrup and let it cook on low flame. Let it simmer for 20-30 minutes, so that the currants absorb the syrup well.

When the syrup thickens and the Amla Murabba seems ready, switch off the gas. Once the Amla Murabba is ready, let it cool. When the murabba cools, store it in a clean glass bottle or container. You can eat Amla Murabba directly or with any food. If you like sweets more, you can increase the amount of sugar.
