- Rewari MLA honored selected players with medals
(Rewari News) Rewari. Eight players from The Gymnastic School, located at the local Garhi Bolni Road, Near Manchanda Society, have been selected by the CBSE School Games Welfare Society in the trials held in Agra for the 68th National School Games 2024-25 to be held in Kolkata. On Thursday, Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav honored all the selected players with medals at PWD Rest House.
In this event, the school’s players have brilliantly demonstrated their talent in acrobatics and artistic gymnastics.
The school’s head coach Karan Arela said that more than 300 players from different schools across the country participated in the trials held at Agra’s Eklavya Sports Stadium. In this trial, eight promising players have been selected from The Gymnastic School located at Garhi Bolni Road, Rewari, Anya Jain, Nandini Verma, Khanak, Samiksha Rawat, Harshika Kumari, Vaibhav, Medhanshi and Lavanya. In this event, the school players brilliantly demonstrated their talent in acrobatics and artistic gymnastics.
He said that all the participants participated under the leadership of Vishal Jain and coach Anita Prajapati. He said that today there are no great achievements in the sport of gymnastics in the Rewari region. Work is also being done to promote gymnastics and increase players’ interest in this sport.
On this occasion, Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav congratulated all the players and said that such an achievement is commendable for an area like Rewari. He expressed hope that like the trials, all the players will show their talent even better in the national competition and bring medals and glory to Rewari and her parents.
