Mohammad Nazir played a total of 14 Test matches and 4 ODIs in his international career. In the Test he scored 144 runs with 34 wickets. At the same time, he took 3 wickets in ODIs. Mohammad Nazir played his first international match in October 1969 against New Zealand. In this Test match, he took 7 wickets for 99 runs in the first innings. Apart from this, he scored 29 unbeaten runs with the bat and also scored 17 unbeaten runs in the second innings. Nazir Junior made headlines for his bowling when Imran Khan included him in the team after five years to play against the West Indies at home in 1979-80.
