Soumya Jha, a collector from Rajasthan’s Tonk district, is dominating social media these days with her work style and kind nature. She is married to 2016 batch IAS officer Akshay Godara, who is currently the Bundi district collector.

Soumya started out in the Himachal Pradesh cadre, but after getting married she was transferred to the Rajasthan cadre. Her husband Akshay Godara became an IPS in the first attempt and then an IAS in the second attempt by securing rank 40. Akshay’s administrative service began as a revenue assistant in Bharatpur.
