Maharashtra: Race for CM post started even before results in MVA and Mahayuti, leaders’ statements created stir – Maharashtra Race for CM post started even before results statements by leaders created ntc stir

Only a day has passed since the Maharashtra elections ended and a series of claims for the CM post of the NDA alliance to INDIA have begun. Let us tell you that this time 2 alliances of 6 parties are in the fray in Maharashtra. Therefore, there is no chance of any party gaining a clear majority. That is why the race for the CM post has become even more interesting.

Once the voting is over, on one hand, the people of Maharashtra are waiting for the election results. At the same time, a public dispute between Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) ally Congress leader Nana Patole and UBT Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut over the CM post has come to light.

What did Nana Patole and Sanjay Raut say?

Nana Patole stated that as per the trends, the Congress will get absolute majority and the MVA government will be formed under the leadership of the Congress. On which Sanjay Raut asked the Congress high command, including Rahul, Priyanka, Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, that if they had taken such a decision, then they should announce Nana Patole’s name for the CM post. Nothing has been decided yet and we, the top leaders, will take a decision on this soon.

Group leader Shinde made a different claim

Interestingly, outgoing MP Sanjay Shirsat of the Shinde faction said that he has full faith in the people’s mandate and we are confident that Eknath Shinde will once again be the Chief Minister.

BJP did not like this statement!

However, Sanjay Shirsat’s claim has not gone down well with his ally BJP as they are trying to distance themselves from making such a claim before the results. BJP MLC Praveen Darkekar said this could be Sanjay Shirsat’s wish and not the official position of the party.

Statement by NCP group leader Ajit too

Also, NCP Ajit Pawar faction spokesperson Sanjay Tatkare claimed that Mahayuti will win 170 seats and Ajit Pawar is an important party in the alliance. But the decision on the post of CM will be taken by three senior leaders and the central leadership of the BJP.

What do the results of the exit polls say?

Let us tell you that in most exit polls, the NDA-led Mahayuti alliance has been predicted to win a clear majority. At the same time, the MVA also intends to form a government with between 145 and 155 seats.
