In many places it still exceeds 400

There was some reduction in air pollution due to a slight change in winds. It registered below 400 after about eight days. Due to this, the overall AQI of Delhi was recorded at 371. But the bad thing is that some areas of Delhi are still extremely polluted and due to air pollution, the air quality index here is over 400.
The AQI is still over 400 in these parts
The areas where the AQI remained above 400 due to pollution include Jahangirpuri, Wazirpur, Shadipur, Bawana, Ashok Nagar, Nehru Nagar. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the situation is likely to remain more or less the same till Sunday. In such a situation, the AQI will remain above 300. According to Decision Sport System (DSS), the proportion of air pollution due to transportation was 17.757 percent, garbage burning was 1.621 percent and the proportion of smoke of stubble was 17.372 percent. On Thursday, the AQI was recorded in the serious category in six areas, including Bawana, Ashok Vihar and Jahangirpuri. Furthermore, the air was very bad in 24 areas and poor in one.

people face problems
On the other hand, Delhi’s air quality index has remained above 400 for the past week. Due to this, on one hand, children and respiratory patients face problems, on the other hand, people experience burning sensation in the chest, difficulty in breathing and stinging in the eyes due to prolonged exposure to open air. On Wednesday, the air was recorded in the dangerous category for the seventh consecutive day. The air quality index (AQI) stood at 419, which is in the severe category.
In this there was a decrease of 41 points compared to Wednesday. Delhi’s air was recorded as the most polluted in NCR. Delhi was the third most polluted city in the country. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has predicted that the air could also remain in the severe category on Thursday. At the same time, there is a possibility of smog and fog in the morning.
The Minister of the Environment demands artificial rain
To remove the layer of smoke and fog formed in Delhi, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai is continuously demanding the Central Government to provide artificial rain. He alleged that the Central Government is not cooperating in this serious crisis and is not responding to his repeated letters.
