A shocking case has come to light in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Here one person was declared dead after autopsy. His body was frozen for four hours, but when he was handed over for the last rites, the dead man was seen breathing, after which a great stir ensued. Three doctors who were negligent in this matter have been suspended.

A disabled and mentally challenged person named Rohitash lived in Maa Seva Sansthan in Baggad, Jhunjhunu. On Thursday morning, in an unconscious state, he was taken to the emergency room of BDK Government Hospital for treatment, where the doctor declared Rohitash brought dead. The body was later taken to the BDK hospital mortuary.

After about two hours, the body was autopsied and handed over to the institute for the last rites, but while being taken for the last rites, Rohitash came back to life. Rohitash was immediately taken to the hospital. Where he has been transferred to the ICU.

Tehsildar and SHO investigated the matter

On receiving information about this shocking incident, the government sent the officer of Tehsildar and Bagad police station to the hospital for investigation. The CCTV cameras installed in the hospital were turned upside down. District Collector Ramvatar Meena termed it gross negligence and sent a full report to the Health Department, where late last night the government took action against the guilty doctors.

The stretcher was ready, when it was time to take it to the autopsy house, the ‘dead’ young man suddenly stood up.

Three doctors suspended, departmental investigation launched

Following the district collector’s report, action has been taken against three doctors. BDK hospital medical director Dr Sandeep Pachar, Dr Yogesh Jakhar and Dr Navneet Meel have been suspended. In this regard, there have been orders issued by the Joint Secretary of the Department of Health. During the suspension period, Dr. Sandeep Pachar’s headquarters will be at the CMHO office in Jaisalmer, Dr. Yogesh Jakhar’s headquarters will be at the CMHO office in Barmer as punishment, while Dr. Navneet Meel’s headquarters will be at the CMHO office in Jalore during the suspension period. A departmental investigation has been launched against the three doctors, including the PMO of BDK hospital.
