Bumrah becomes captain, debut for 2 players

Talking about the match, the Indian team starts this series without its captain Rohit Sharma. In such a situation, star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is leading the team. Bumrah captains the Indian team for only the second time. Previously, he had captained a Test match on the tour of England in 2022. Rohit Rohit had taken a break from this Test due to the birth of his son. He is now said to join the team in Perth from November 24 and begin preparing for the second Test.

Team India made some important decisions in the playing eleven for this match, in which Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana got the opportunity to make their Test debuts.
