Women will be empowered with the help of famous German group: Anindita Mitra

Punjab (Aaj Samaj) News Update, Chandigarh: The state government is making efforts to empower women and make them self-reliant. The government is taking many measures for this. Punjab State Cooperative Bank is taking step by step steps in this effort of the government. This was said by Anindita Mitra, Managing Director, Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited, during an important agreement signed between Patiala Foundation, OMED EV Germany and Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited.

Its objective is to digitally empower women and promote their economic empowerment. Also present were OMED EV Germany CEO Dr Jens H Fischer and Patiala Foundation CEO Ravi Singh Ahluwalia.

Self-help groups will be helped

Sharing other details, Anindita Mitra said that the main objective of this project is to provide self-help groups (SHGs) with the necessary tools, skills and secure digital platform to help them market their products, exchange ideas and solve challenges. when dealing with it.

He said that by leveraging digital tools and strategies, this project aims to bridge the digital divide by enabling SHGs to reach larger markets and improve their livelihoods. He said that under this project, SHG members will be provided with a safe and password-protected digital space to communicate, collaborate and share resources.

This will promote the collaborative system.

Anindita Mitra said that this initiative promotes a collaborative system, where members can jointly share suggestions, strategies and resources for growth and innovation. He said the platform also gives members the opportunity to raise their issues and highlight activities such as fraud, thus creating an environment of trust and vigilance. He said the women would receive training in digital marketing, product presentation and gathering the necessary materials to establish a strong online presence and expand their network.
