Chandigarh News (Aaj Samaj) Chandigarh: Haryana Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Gaurav Gautam gave strict instructions to Health Department officials to take strict action against private hospitals that do not accept Ayushman Card so that people do not have to wander around from here to there for treatment. He said the government had started Ayushman Card and Chirayu Yojana to provide free treatment to the poor, so there should be no compromise on this scheme.

Haryana Minister of State Gaurav Gautam had complained to Pramila, a resident of Deepalpur village in Sonipat, that her husband Hardeep Singh had suddenly fallen ill and was admitted to a private hospital in the city. after which he died three days later. During this time, when she showed her Ayushman card to the hospital, they refused to accept it and took four lakh rupees from her for her husband’s treatment. Expressing deep displeasure over this complaint, the State Minister directed the Deputy CMO to immediately investigate and if this woman’s Ayushman card was made at that time, take action against that hospital and recover her money.

There is no place for corruption in the state

He said there is no place for corruption in this state, so officials should stop taking money from people without any reason, otherwise strict action will be taken against them. Regarding the complaints received about illegal construction being carried out in various villages of Sonipat district, the State Minister directed the DTP that there should not be any illegal construction anywhere in the district. If any person carries out illegal construction then strict action is also taken against him. During the meeting, following Prem Nagar resident Rajesh Kumari’s complaint regarding removal of illegal encroachment, the MLA ordered a fresh inquiry.
