Punjab Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Kapurthala: On Thursday night in Sultanpur Lodhi, some unknown youths attacked BJP Yuva Morcha chief Honey Kumar with sharp weapons. Two of his associates were also present with the BJP leader when he was attacked. All three were seriously injured in the sudden attack. After this, the three were taken to the hospital where doctors declared Honey Kumar dead while the other two youths were seriously injured.
DSP Sukhpal Singh said BJP Yuva Morcha leader Honey Kumar was found seriously injured at Dana Mandi late at night. He was taken to the hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead. In this case, an FIR was registered against the accused and one accused was also arrested.
Third attack on BJP leader in a month
The family members of the deceased said that Honey Kumar, son of Surendra Pal, had gone on a cycle ride with his friends Ajay Kumar Bunty, Aman Kumar. After some time, the three were found seriously injured at Dana Mandi. His body was attacked with sharp weapons. They were all admitted to the civil hospital. He told the police that young people from his town, Saida, had attacked him with knives.
He said this is the third attack by youths from the town of Saida in the last month. In which he lost his life. DSP Sukhpal Singh said that an investigation was launched after taking possession of the body and a case was registered based on the family’s statement. An accused has also been arrested. Murder of a young man after calling him home in Batala
In Talwandi Hindua Patti village, which falls under Dera Baba Nanak police station in Batala, a young man was called home and killed by being hit in the stomach with a splinter. The deceased has been identified as Sachin (28), a resident of Dharamkot Patan village. The deceased worked in the department of persons with disabilities in Dera Baba Nanak. At the same time, Dera Baba Nanak police registered a murder case against the accused father and son and started taking further action.
