JEE Main 2025
The National Testing Agency i.e. NTA will close the application window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains 2025) Phase 1 today, November 22. In such a situation, those candidates who want to appear in the JEE Mains Session 1 exam can apply by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Please remember that through a recent notification, NTA has clarified that the last date of application of JEE Main will not be extended.
When will the correction window open?
Candidates who apply before the last date will be able to make changes to their form and will have the opportunity to make corrections between November 26 and 27.
When will the exams take place?
The JEE Main Session-1 exam will be held from January 22 to 31, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

What improvements can be made to the application?
Candidates should remember that while making corrections in the correction window, they will not be allowed to change their mobile number, email address, permanent/present address, emergency number details or photograph.
Change will be allowed in one of the details provided below.
- Name
- mother’s name
- father’s name
Changes can be made to all of these details.
- Class 10/Equivalent details
- Class 12/Equivalent details
- plate number
- birthdate
- gender
- category
- subcategory
- Disabled Candidate Status
- signature
- Candidates will also be able to change document preference, exam medium and exam cities.
If the application fee increases due to correction, candidates will have to pay the additional fee and the fields will be updated only after payment. However, if the rates are reduced after correction, the agency will not refund candidates. For more details, visit the official website of NTA.
JEE Main 2025: How to Apply
- First go to jeemain.nta.ac.in
- After this open the application link.
- Then register for login details
- Now log in to your account.
- After this, fill out the application form, upload the documents and pay the fees.
- Finally submit the form and download the page.
What changes have been made this time?
- Removed optional questions in Section B.
- The age criteria are over.
- The tiebreaker rule has changed, from which age and application number will no longer be taken into account if the same number is obtained.
- The number of examination centers was also reduced to 284.
- Name matching in Aadhaar and high school mark sheet is no longer required.
- Negative grading began for numerical value questions. In this one point will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
