New Delhi. An encounter between soldiers and Naxalites took place in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, on Friday. 10 Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. The encounter between Naxalites and soldiers continues in the Bhejji area. Sukma SP Kiran Chavan said the bodies of 10 Naxalites have been recovered so far. In addition, other weapons, including an AK 47, have been recovered from the scene.

Meanwhile, the Naxalites started firing in Bhejji. In response, the soldiers also opened fire. There are reports that 10 Naxalites were killed in this encounter. Three automatic pistols and many other weapons were recovered from the spot.

There are mountains nearby. This encounter took place in the forests near the villages of Korajuguda, Dantespuram, Nagaram and Bhandarpadar.
Before this, five days ago, there was an encounter between soldiers and Naxalites in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, on Sunday. During that time, the police had killed five Naxalites. These included two women. The police had recovered a large cache of cartridges, including an INSAS, a Srukr and a 12-gauge rifle. On the same Sunday, soldiers foiled a major Naxalite conspiracy in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh. During the search operation on the highway, soldiers defused an ID Tiffin bomb weighing about 4 kg.
