Punjab Political News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday made a big change in Punjab and handed over the responsibility of the Chief’s post to Cabinet Minister and Sunam MLA Aman Arora. Along with this, Amansher Singh Kalsi has been appointed as interim director. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann himself shared this information by providing information on his X account.
It may be noted that a few days ago, Bhagwant Singh Mann had indicated that he would soon name the new party chief in the state. Mann had then said that he could not do justice to the CM with the responsibility of the chief’s office. Therefore, the party will soon have a full-time boss. After this, today the party has appointed Aman Arora as the new president of the party.

Giving this information on Twitter, Aman Arora said that the party has decided that Aman Arora will work as the party president and Shari Kalsi as the vice president. I have full faith in my two colleagues that in the coming times they will further strengthen the party and the organization in Punjab and take it to new heights.
Aman Arora is MLA from Sunam. Arora won the Punjab Assembly elections for the first time in March 2017 with a record number of votes. He is the co-president of the Punjab state unit of the Aam Aadmi Party. Aman is the son of two-time Punjab minister and MLA Bhagwan Das Arora. Prior to this, he had contested the Sunam elections twice as a Congress candidate in 2007 and 2012. In January 2016, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
