The results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections will be known on November 23. Before this, Mahavikas Aghadi began to fear that his winning legal aid agreements would be haggled over. For this reason, MVA has decided to keep all its newly elected MLAs together after the declaration of results. This information has been provided by Shiv Sena leader (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) himself, Sanjay Raut.

All winning MLAs will stay in Mumbai

MP Sanjay Raut on Friday said that Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) electors have decided to keep all their newly elected MLAs together in Mumbai after the results of the Maharashtra elections. The purpose of this measure is to thwart any attempts at bargaining before the formation of the government. MVA leaders met Thursday and evaluated each seat. Among them were Raut, his party colleague Anil Desai, Nationalist Congress Party (SP) state president Jayant Patil and Congress leaders Satej Patil and Balasaheb Thorat.

Claims to win 160 seats

Raut said, “We have decided to bring all the newly elected MLAs to Mumbai. The new MLAs do not have any accommodation in Mumbai, so we have decided to make arrangements for them to live together.” We inform you that the counting of the assembly elections to be held on November 20 in the state will be held on Saturday, November 23. Raut expressed confidence that the MVA will win 160 seats in these elections. Rajya Sabha member Raut said some independent candidates, who have a strong chance of winning, have expressed their willingness to support the MVA alliance.

There is no clear opinion on the post of Chief Minister

Raut also expressed his opinion on the post of Chief Minister: “There is no formula for the post of Chief Minister. Everyone will choose the leader of the government.” Senior Congress leaders should come to Mumbai with a clear idea about the chief ministerial post as NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray are in Mumbai. He also said that no force can stop the MVA from forming the next government in Maharashtra and the decision on the CM’s post will be taken only in Maharashtra.

Different claims about the CM position in both alliances

It is noteworthy that even before the results were announced, differences began to emerge between the MVA and the ruling Mahayuti alliance over who will lead the next government and voters from both sides are demanding the post of Chief Minister. State Congress president Nana Patole said the MVA government will be formed in the state under the leadership of his party, while Raut on Thursday said the face of the CM will be decided jointly by all alliance partners. Please note that the term of the Maharashtra Assembly will end on November 26.
