After 10 years, Congress was raising its head in Delhi, AAP followed suit!

Forgetting the defeats of 2015 and 2020, the Aam Aadmi Party has started dealing a blow to the Congress that is trying to return to power in Delhi even before the elections. The AAP is working on two types of strategies for this. The first part of the strategy is to break strong congressional leaders who can influence elections.

The second strategy is to hold all elections between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Aam Aadmi Party. By starting the discussion campaign on Rewari, he has also taken a gamble.

Congress engaged in strong barricade

The Congress is engaged in a strong front to return to power in Delhi after 10 years. The party’s big leaders are scrapping Delhi Jodo Yatra on the lines of Bharat Jodo. Apart from recalling its past works, the Congress also highlights those issues that have a direct connection with the people of Delhi.

Rahul Gandhi himself has entered the field to corner AAP and BJP on important issues like pollution. Apart from wooing Delhi’s core voters, the Congress is also trying to make the fight triangular.

But these 3 moves by Kejriwal increased the tension.

Tickets to 3 Congress leaders

The Aam Aadmi Party has released a list of 11 candidates for the Delhi elections. Four Congress leaders have been given tickets in the list. The party has nominated Veer Singh Dhingan from Seemapuri, Somesh Shokeen from Matiala and Zubair Chaudhary from Seelampur.

The AAP has given tickets to the three based on a survey. All three have been in Congress and are leaders with a strong base in the area. It is said that the AAP even before the elections made a big bet by fielding these three candidates.

The party also monitors those congressmen who want to participate in the elections but with a safe haven. It is said that this is why the AAP has tried to send a message to the leaders by handing out fines to the turncoats.

Effort to make BJP vs AAP

Arvind Kejriwal knows that if there is a triangular contest in the elections, the Aam Aadmi Party may suffer more losses. In 2013, the Delhi elections were triangular, in which the BJP emerged as the largest party. The AAP was reduced to the second position and the Congress to the third.

The 2015 and 2020 elections were BJP versus AAP. The AAP had won unilaterally in both the elections. Kejriwal’s effort this time too is to make the elections between the BJP and the AAP.

Arvind Kejriwal has tried to give vent to this issue during the Rewari debate. Kejriwal has said that I am talking about free water, free electricity and health, so don’t press the lotus button. Just the pressure of the broom.

Eyes on Dalit and Muslim vote bank

Where AAP is creating an atmosphere through free promises. At the same time, the party does not shy away from solving the equation between Dalits and Muslims. Amid the brouhaha over the assembly elections in Delhi, the AAP has handed over the leadership of the state of Punjab to Dalit leader Aman Arora.

In Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has also been at the helm of the AAP party since 2022. This decision by the AAP is seen as a way to help the Dalits of Delhi. In Delhi there are around 20 per cent Dalits, for whom 12 seats are reserved.

The AAP is leaving no stone unturned to woo Muslim voters and Purvanchals. Kejriwal himself speaks openly about the problems of both communities. The voting population of the Muslim community and Purvanchal is also over 25 per cent in Delhi.
