In the second phase of the competition organized at Avadh University on the occasion of National Unity Day, several competitions were held among 11 colleges and residential complexes on Friday. These included speech and debate contests, single-character drama contests, poetry contests, essay writing contests, and patriotic song contests. The speech and debate competition was held at Sardar Patel Unity Centre, judged by Prof. Farrukh Jamal, Dr. Shambhavi Shukla, Dr. Swati Singh. The Department of Continuing and Adult Education organized a character theater competition. The judges for this competition were Dr. Surendra Mishra, Dr. Pradeep and Vineeta Patel. On the other hand, on the 148th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a poetry writing competition was organized in the Department of Hindi Language and Practice. In this, the role of judge was played by Dr. Anil Kumar, Dr. Pratyasha Mishra. The essay writing competition was held in regional languages.
