‘A true Hindu will never commit violence, but…’, Chitralekha said this about the spread of religion – Sahitya Aajtak 2024 Devi chitralekha talks about the spread of Hinduism or dharma prachar tlifdu

Devi Chitralekha’s name is counted among the youngest storytellers in India. Through her thoughts and devotional songs, she has become a great spiritual guru at such a young age. Their reels go viral and are very popular on social networks. On the platform of ‘Sahitya Aajtak 2024’, Chitralekha responded to critics who questioned the promotion of Sananat Dharma and the work of storytellers.

He was asked a lot of questions on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak. In the same sequence, he was asked that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also said things like “If you divide, you will be cut.” What is your opinion on such things and slogans?

Devi Chitralekha responded without hesitation and said, “I completely agree with these things.” A true Hindu will never commit violence. He will never throw poison against people. But if someone comes to cut our throats, it is our responsibility to protect ourselves. The poor are converting to religion by luring them with money and valuables. This is a cause for concern and we need to think about it. If someone marches for religion, then their job is to save religion, not incite violence.

What is the correct way to propagate religion?

Answering this question, Devi Chitralekha said, “Every person wants happiness in life. But can we continue to be happy in any situation? No. There is always some problem in life. This is where the need to propagate religion is felt. The purpose of preaching religion is to show people such a direction that no matter what great pain comes to them in life, there will always be a smile on their faces. Always stay with the one who doesn’t let you go astray. That is the only religion. I always say that the Gita and the Quran kept in a library do not fight with each other. But those who fight for them never read them.

However, Devi Chitralekha also said that she is just a storyteller and her job is that of a messenger who easily conveys the things written in the scriptures to the people. When she was asked whether she was the messenger of Ram or Krishna, she said smiling, ‘There is no difference between Ram and Krishna. Ram and Krishna are one and the same. One taught us dignity and the other taught us joy. For me there is no difference between the two. I promote both.

He further said, ‘We eat only in the name of Ram and Krishna and our house functions only by their grace. Our society is also governed by the same principle. If anyone considers it a business, they are wrong. The money we receive through Katha is spent on essential things. When we go to do Katha in the country and abroad, there is a team of many people with us. How will your house work again? We perform many other types of social services. Nobody mentions this at all.
