News9 Global Summit Germany Edition: Addressing the German edition of TV9 Group’s News9 Global Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that a new chapter is being added to the Indo-German partnership today. I am glad that an Indian media group connects Germany and the German people. Germany is one of our most important partners. Every country in the world wants to partner with India for development.
Prime Minister Modi further said that Germany released the Focus on India document. Today, around 3 lakh Indians live in Germany. Another aspect of India-Germany relations is visible in India. Today, more than 1,800 companies work in India. I am confident that trade between India and Germany will increase further in the coming times. Today India is the fastest growing economy in the world. The German document Focus on India is an example of this.
India has adopted new policies in all fields. India eliminated more than 30 thousand compliances. The tax system was corrected. So that our business can progress. Manufacturing and engineering have a long history in Germany’s development path. I invite German companies to come to India.
