Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has decided to launch ‘Chief Minister’s Good Governance Scholars Programme’ in the state. Officials said Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the final session of the two-day regional conference on ‘Good Governance’ in Raipur today, announced the launch of ‘Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellows Programme’ ” in the state. Chief Minister Sai said that under this scheme, the Chhattisgarh government in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Raipur will start a postgraduate course in Public Policy and Governance for the native students of Chhattisgarh. For this, students will be selected through CAT exam.
Students will get these facilities.
The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, apart from classes at IIM-Raipur, students will also get practical experience in various departments of the Chhattisgarh Government. The state government will bear the entire cost of the course and will also provide a fixed monthly stipend to the students. This scheme will increase efficiency and transparency in governance and provide an opportunity for high-level education and practical experience to the youth of the state. It aims to create a generation of professionals in Chhattisgarh who will work with the government, NGOs, think tanks and the private sector to improve governance.
Officials said Chief Minister Sai, while welcoming senior officials and subject matter experts from across the country on behalf of the citizens of Chhattisgarh at the two-day regional conference, said, “You have brought together the best practices that are being applied in different states of the country.” Shared with others.
