DANA effect in Odisha, (Aaj Samaj), Bhubaneswar/Calcutta: The effect of cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ has ended in Odisha. Due to its effects, heavy rains continue, especially in the coastal areas of West Bengal. The storm has wreaked havoc on a large scale in Odisha. In many places, trees were uprooted, power poles fell, and many temporarily built structures were damaged. However, thanks to the promptness of rescue teams and administration, there has been no loss of life due to ‘Dana’.
