There was an uproar in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, over a shooting at a school van in broad daylight. The students were traveling in the van at the time of the incident. This incident is said to have been carried out by three people who were on bicycles and who were already in ambush. First they tried to stop the school van, when it did not stop they threw stones and finally opened fire on the school van, aiming at the driver. The bullet hit the door of the van.
The children traveling in the van were frightened by this incident that took place in the Gajraula police station area of Amroha. There were screams in the place. Fortunately no one was injured. After receiving the information, the children’s relatives along with the police reached the spot. During that time a student hugged her father and began to cry. The police have arrested an accused. The driver of the van is also being questioned.
In this regard, SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said that during interrogation it was revealed that the school van that was attacked today had collided with a scooter four days ago. So there was a dispute between the van driver and the scooter driver. The same person along with his two accomplices were said to have carried out this incident. Currently, a case has been registered due to the driver’s complaint. An accused has also been arrested. Early judicial procedures prevail.
Let us tell you that the school van at which shots were fired belongs to BJP leader Virendra Singh. He has his own school. Virendra Amroha is the district vice-president of the BJP. He condemned this incident and demanded strict action from the police against the accused.
At the same time, the truck driver Monty said that I was taking the car when a person shook my hand on the road, as soon as the car slowed down, two more people came out of the bushes on the side of the road. One had a gun in his hand and the other had bricks and stones. When I tried to reverse away, they threw stones at me. Meanwhile, a person fired two shots.
According to the driver, he drove the car in reverse for about 500 meters, during which the children were screaming. At the same time, the attackers were chasing him. After traveling a certain distance, the car moved forward and stopped only after being brought to a safe place. But the attackers chased him for 1 km.
