The Synergy Summit: Bridging Academia and Industry was organized on Friday at Chaksikander Government Engineering College, Vaishali, located in Bidupur block of Vaishali district of Bihar, with an objective to establish mutual cooperation between industry and the institute. Under the auspices of the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar, in collaboration with the Vaishali Government Engineering College and the district administration, a conference was organized with major industries established in Vaishali district in the university campus.

Language laboratory established for communication skills

Engineering colleges established in 38 districts
Secretary of the department Dr. Pratima briefed the industry in detail through PPT about the implementation of the decisions taken by the state government in the field of technical education. He said engineering colleges have been established in 38 districts of Bihar meeting the standards of All India Council for Technical Education. All these efforts are undertaken by the state government, after which students can acquire technical proficiency as per industry demand.

DM of Vaishali said that as per the policy of the state government, the district administration is playing a very positive role in establishing the industry but modern technology can be introduced only after mutual cooperation with the technical institute regarding the technology that is used in the industry will be able to obtain information. There is a need to develop a strong and ongoing relationship between the industry and the institute so that students can be trained as per the requirements and do not need to go to other states in search of employment.
